If You Feel Far from God I got a letter in the mail yesterday and on the envelope this is what it said: If you feel far from God, guess who moved Got caught up in the hustle, talkin real smooth Became your own emperor with a brand new groove So if you feel far from God, guess who moved. When I opened the letter this is what it read.: You prayed last night as you laid down Lord it's you my soul to take Then you gave your life to weed While you were still awake Took that hit of spike, then took a hike To pitch a tent in that almighty game Then wondered why, child you couldn't see the sky And all your struggles ended up the same But I sent this letter to let you know That for you doc, there's still hope Though you did things yourself, added your own wealth When you launched out, I sent a rope So while you, were turnin' up and hustlin' Trying to find your own way I was sittin' back while you were countin' stacks Reminding you "Bro", I govern the day I've been standing hear always near Waiting for you to come back home To remind you child, that I have a way out And with me your never alone So if your tired of the struggles and keeping up with the game And all of your profits are coming up the same Slow down your thinking, come back to my groove If you feel far from God, guess who moved.
