Autonomous vehicles and space travel It is predicted that by 2026, 10% of all cars in the USA will be driverless and this is no longer a technological fantasy. Car manufacturers predict that this will decrease highway accidents. On the other hand, safety is still a big issue considering the accident in 2018 involving an Uber autonomous car which killed a woman in Tempe, Arizona. At the same time, space travel will be a major industry from which tech moguls will benefit. NASA, for example, aims to travel to the moon (and beyond) again. However, companies like SpaceX, from Elon Musk, and Blue Origin are aiming for commercial space travel. Meaning that people like you and I can go to space as well! Artificial intelligence takes a seat in the boardroom For some, it may sound scary, but artificial intelligence plays a very important role in our business world. According to Daily Mail UK, 2026 will be the year when the first artificial intelligence will join a corporate board of directors. These machines are predicted to become truly autonomous.
