6. What would you say is your most distinct
differentiator as a photographer, which
enables you to stand out in your industry
amongst the crowd?
I
t’s a funny one, I haven’t
had an opportunity to
mention this till date.
But, the very reason I
stand out of the crowd,
is that I’ve always held my
camera the other way around, i.e.
THE WRONG SIDE UP”.
I’m not sure how it helps, but I can
be assured that it definitely agreed
with me.
Your extensive portfolio encompasses cov-
er shoots for well-known international
publications, including Elle, Marie Claire,
Vogue, GQ, and Vanity Fair, to name a few.
Would you say that you have a signature
cover style, and if so, how would you
describe it?
I
think my personal favorite is “A Portrait”, the
key is to get the best out of your “muse”. To be
able to not only understand The brand per-
sona, of the magazine I shoot for, but also, to
identify the strengths I can possibly highlight
while I shoot my “muse”. In a way, be able to harmonize
the two sacrosanctly.
