What varietals do you grow?
Currently we work with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon,
Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petite Verdot.

Carte Blanche wines are limited, luxury, hand-crafted creations of dis-
tinction, precision and balance. What would you consider to be your
most sought after vintage? What is your personal favorite vintage and
what makes it your favorite?
Our most sought after vintage so far has been our 2015. It’s a little too
soon to tell which vintage is my personal favorite because I’m truly en-
amored and absolutely mesmerized by all of Helen Keplinger’s Carte
Blanche wines that started with the 2014 vintage.  The wines are still
quite young, so it will take a few more years to look at them next to one
another.  It’s hard because I have a few different wines that I produce
and I have favorite wines from different vintages, such as the 2014 Sun
Chase Pinot Noir which is a personal favorite. I think the 2014 vintage
is an excellent reference point for Carte Blanche with five outstanding
wines by Helen. The 2015 and 2016 wines are our most renowned to
date, and it’s going to be fun to evaluate the 2014-2018 vintages sepa-
rately, and side by side going forth.
