Jesus said “this gospel of the kingdom” not just any old story, but a specific account and it would be preached as a witness. In other words the world will see in us the purveyors of this message what the gospel of the kingdom is really all about, the choice to accept or reject it is entirely theirs but ours is to present this gospel of the kingdom in its entirety in truth. We are the vehicles through which this gospel reaches the whole world. God is calling us to go. However, we need to realise he is not calling us to just bash people with the Bible and say we have done our part. HE is calling us to walk, talk, live, eat and experience the gospel. He is calling us to bear witness of what Christ does in one’s life, He is calling us to live the love that God is and as we live that love, He calls us to tell the world of that love. He then adds a beautiful
This work is not a work to be done out of duty, it is meant to be the outworking of a heart affected by Love. It has to be as Jeremiah aptly put it a fire shut up in our bones that just prevents us from sitting down or shutting up. I believe the above rhetoric is true but when it comes down to it, the question that remains is; how can this be or rather how do we become the instruments to share this gospel and how do we share this gospel in a contagious manner? From the 22nd to the 26th of September 2013, Cape Town will be graced by a preacher, teacher, pastor and father who will share on precisely this theme. So whether you are a novice or an ‘expert’ witness, whether you are new to the faith or have been in the church for years now, regardless of your age or standing in life, we invite you to this defining occasion in your life,

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”Matthew 24:14
promise in John 12:32 “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me” The challenge is a lot of us appreciate the need to go out and share Jesus. I would even dare say a good number desire to share Him. However in as much as we desire to share Him we are scared of rejection. Or maybe we look at our lifestyles and feel we are far too out of sync with our profession to even start sharing Him. Perhaps we feel our work keeps us too busy, we never have any time to talk about Jesus. Maybe we just do not want to offend the stranger we brush shoulders with along the way. WE may have a plethora of reasons, some valid. The reality though is the work must and will be done. Matthew 24:4 2 Peter 3:9 what is more: it is a priceless free gift! Pastor Thula Nkosi from Johannesburg will be with us through this weekend and will be breaking it down for us at the Riverside Danie Theunissen Hall, see posters for details. Do set the date it is an event not to be missed. Come and hear more on how to be a ‘Contagious Adventist’ and there after spread the contagion, go viral so that we may be the generation that ends this world.
Jane Nshuti says:"Contagious Adventism will only happen through Christ methods alone" I heard this words from Ps Thula Nkosi just before the Adventist Global Youth Day (16 March 2013). As the youth from my church got ready to hit the streets of Cape Town to preach the gospel through good deeds, that quotation kept ringing in my head. I was truly challenged and rebuked that it had to take a Global youth day for me and many other Adventist young people to become Christians in action. I was reminded that Christianity is not measured by how well we behave but it is measured by what we do for Christ’s sake. This means, having a zeal for evangelism and living our lives in a way which draws others to Christ. These messages have encouraged me to become a Contagious Adventist and I pray that many will see Christ through me. So dear friends, we do not need to wait for another global youth day in order to do something for Christ. I encourage you to attend the Seminar on Becoming a Contagious Adventist
