I have been confronted by the wonders of Scandinavia. I have yet to visit, and one might imagine my South American/West Indian blood might not make it so far north. However, I have been promising a visit to my friend Maja, who ith "PR & Kommunikationsninja" for Copenhagen's first food market. Beyond this, London has also been showing it's fascination and love for the region, with a series of Scandinavian pop-ups emerging just in time for the season. South Bank's Finnish Rooftop Sauna is opened until the 30 December, or perhaps partake in a traditional Nordic Yulefest this month in Shoreditch, where visitors get to 'hygge' it up with a five-course feast drinking, eating and dancing the night away the Nordic way. If you wish to get your food fix, visit one of the Michelin starred restaurants scattered across London.
