MEA Test-Taking Tips

 Make sure you’ve studied enough

 Make sure you are relaxed

If you have extra time, go back and check your answers

Make sure you are thoroughly reading the questions so that you don’t answer the question you think you are being asked.

Make a plan for how you are going to spend your time during the test.

For essays or short answer questions, always paraphrase the original question into a statement.

Make sure your answers are clean and precise. If teachers can’t read what you are writing, then you might as well have not written it.

Create notes and make quizzes out of your notes so that you are prepared.

Be positive! If you go in thinking you will fail, then you have a higher chance of failing, but if you go in positive, thinking you will do well, then you will!
