Workers in factories take in the electronics and use toxic materials to break up the important natural resources from the non important resources. This is a very dangerous process and causes a lot of injuries to the workers.
After these steps are finished, the reusable resources are shipped back out to companies to be used for other electronic devices. We should recycle in order to cut down on the amount of conflict minerals we need from the DRC.
