obert Edward Lee was born on January 19, 1807 in Stratford Hall, VA. Lee was apart Virginia aristocracy
the Virginia aristocracy. He graduated from West Point. He has seven children with his wife Mary Custis, the great grand-daughter of George and Martha Washington. his commander of the Confederate forces and is the general-in-chief. Some of his greatest battles include Antietam, Fredericksburg,
Chancellorsville, and
Gettysburg.
