Violaine Khal
When she is asked what she does for a
living, Violaine replies: "I make people
dream!", then bursts out laughing! It was
her motivation when she first started as a
photographer: to capture the moment and
share her very own dreamy vision of the
world with us. Violaine is also an actress
and a film-director who likes to tell herself
- and others - stories. She spends hours
observing her surroundings, waiting for
something to finally happen in the frame
she has designed. She his currently
developing a documentary movie on "the
woman's body" and now lives in Paris, not
knowing where she'll be tomorrow!
Courtney Barriger (1987-) is an
American author, artist and designer.
She is known for writing and
illustrating short stories and creating
short films with which she performs
and directs. Her short films have been
shown internationally, and she has been
acknowledged by Women's
Entertainment as "America's It Girl" by
winning a reality based TV program
with a reading from her novel
"NightBook Short Story Anthology."
A Rebel with a Cause, she co-launched
Naz&Court - a sustainable and ethical
clothing line based in LA - and has been
recognized as a designer by the United
Nation Fashion Fights Poverty as "The
