Ted Varani
Ted Varani grew up in Minnesota and Florida , and has subsequently resided at no less than eighteen different addresses in Japan , China , France and the USA . Known to don corporate neckties as well as skateboard t-shirts , Ted is hopelessly caught in between a love for everything the modern world has to offer , and a romantic longing to lead the life of a nineteenth century gentleman adventurer . Believing life ' s greatest joy is in seeing what lies just beyond that next bend , if he could do it all over again he would get a masters in computer science and then go live in the Congo . Ted found his greatest adventure in being a father , and when not absorbed in that passion dabbles in business , languages , obsessing about current events , guitar playing and even writing . He is currently living in Shanghai , China .
Keli Larson
Keli is a Midwest native who migrated to California to escape ridiculously cold winters . She recently achieved culinary nirvana by discovering both an avocado and a Meyer lemon tree on the property of her new home . Her day job is a researcher for a game show ; she spends her free time in her newly renovated kitchen , playing with her spice collection and creating new dishes with farmer ’ s markets ’ finds from around California . The food never goes to waste ; Keli and her fiancé love to entertain and frequently throw dinner parties for their foodie friends and family . She ’ s also into reading about medieval monarchies ; plays the piano to relax , and is a serious Kings hockey fan . She ’ s currently working on her own book and blog – coming soon . Keli lives in Los Angeles with her fiancé , their sweet rescue cat , and two very generous fig trees .
