The Visionaries ’ Boots & Bandanas event raises more than $ 450,000 !
fter a long hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic , the Visionaries came back in a big way at their 2022 Boots & Bandanas event on April 30 , raising more than $ 450,000 for Baylor Scott & White McLane Children ’ s Medical Center . That ’ s almost double the amount raised the last time the event was held in 2019 !
The sold-out event at Schoepf ’ s BBQ in Belton featured country artists Tracy Byrd and Rick Trevino , dinner , dancing , and both a live and silent auction . Net proceeds from the event will be used to meet various needs at McLane Children ’ s , such as advanced equipment , specialized training , and support programs .
“ Our community has always been so generous in their support of McLane Children ’ s and our young patients ,” says Lori Luppino , interim president for the Baylor Scott & White Central Texas Foundation . “ It ’ s wonderful to see so many share our passion for quality healthcare for the children of Central Texas .”

More than 700 guests do-si-doed to music by country artists Tracy Byrd and Rick Trevino .
