Employees 1 st Emergency Assistance Fund
Together , we can make an impact .
n fiscal year 2022 , Baylor Scott & White leadership , employees and board members gave more than $ 10 million through our annual Give to Change campaign . Funds raised through the campaign support hundreds of programs and initiatives that positively impact patient care , support our colleagues in need and allow us to better serve our communities across Texas .
9,400 participating leaders and employees raised more than $ 4.1M
438 participating board members raised more than $ 6M
As part of Give to Change , many leaders , employees and board members choose to support this fund , created to help team members facing financial hardships due to unforeseen circumstances .
Tangie Wilkerson , RN After suffering a devastating accident while out of the country , Tangie needed a costly medical evacuation flight back to the United States , as well as critical care for her injuries . The Employees 1st Emergency Assistance Fund helped cover the cost of her flight .
