It ’ s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at McLane Children ’ s ! My puppy colleague , Gigi , and I made these special cookies to thank our community for their joyful support of our kiddos in the hospital , year after year . ( I may have taken a bite of one or two ... don ’ t put me on the naughty list !)
Last year , our community full of paw-some Santa ’ s helpers donated more than $ 76,500 in toys and gifts to help bring a little cheer to our young patients all year round , and help them understand and cope with what can be a scary healthcare experience .
Of course , all of our patients have been VERY good this year . If you ’ d like to bring them some extra joy during their time in the hospital , I made a special wish list of things to get their tails a-waggin ! I can ’ t wait to see their smiles — it just warms my little puppy heart !
You ’ re the top dog , Santa ! I ’ ll try to save some cookies for when you come down the chimney , but no promises !

Presents help our patients smile , but gifts of $ 25 , $ 50 , $ 100 or more can help us fill our stocking full of funding to support great care for these good boys and girls .
