Letter from the President
Dear Friends and Supporters ,
I am thrilled to share with you the latest edition of The Compass , which highlights some exciting developments at Baylor Scott & White All Saints Health Foundation . As we continue to grow and evolve as an organization , we remain committed to our mission of improving the health and well-being of individuals and communities throughout North Texas .
At the heart of this issue is the 15th anniversary of the Paul and Judy Andrews Women ’ s Hospital , which has transformed the landscape of women ’ s and newborn healthcare in our community . In these 15 years , we have celebrated more than 86,600 birthdays and cared for 10,200 premature or critically ill newborns in our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit . As we look to the future , we remain steadfast in our dedication to empower women to lead healthy and fulfilling lives .
We are also excited to unveil Baylor Scott & White Health ’ s new vision , “ Empowering You to Live Well .” We believe that healthcare is not just about treating illnesses , but about helping individuals and communities thrive . Through this vision , we are committed to providing innovative programs and services that inspire , motivate and equip individuals to take charge of their health and well-being .
Finally , we are proud to showcase two special events , Beyond the Bag and the inaugural Purple Reign , each benefiting the Joan Katz Cancer Resource Center . These events embody the very spirit of our vision , encouraging our community to come together to support cancer patients and their families . We are humbled by the generosity of our donors and the dedication of our volunteers who are the driving force behind these efforts .
We are grateful for your unwavering support and partnership , which have enabled us to make a meaningful impact on many individuals and families . Together , we can continue to empower each other to live well and build healthier communities .
Sincerely ,
Amy Adkins President , Baylor Scott & White All Saints Health Foundation Amy . Adkins @ BSWHealth . org
