Charles Williams comes back home to Fort Worth to serve as president of Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center – Fort Worth .
Fort Worth Roots Run Deep for Hospital ' s New Leader
G rowing up in Fort Worth with parents who were God-serving and hardworking , Charles Williams said it was a football coach at Dunbar High School that first piqued his interest in healthcare .
Since obtaining his undergraduate degree in community health and health studies and his graduate degree in occupational therapy , Williams has spent the last 25 years doing what he loves — serving others . Whether in the role of direct patient care or in executive positions , Williams recognizes that putting the patient first , at the center of everything you do , is critical .

Williams officially took the reins at Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center – Fort Worth on July 17 , replacing Mike Sanborn , who currently serves as the healthcare system ’ s Chief Growth Officer . According to Sanborn , “ Those who know Charles well attest that he has a reputation for excellence , a passion for service and a drive to never settle .” In addition to serving the Fort Worth hospital , Williams was also named president of Baylor Scott & White ’ s DFW-West Region , which includes hospitals in Irving and Grapevine .
Williams has held a variety of executive positions at North Texas hospitals , as well as in other states . He comes most recently via Waco , where he served as President of Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Hillcrest for two years . When he received the call earlier this year about the opportunity to return to Fort Worth , Williams knew it was time to come home . “ I am happy to be back in the place where I grew up and where I started my career — to serve this community that is dear to my heart .”
