The numbers for the 2020 season have been strongly conditioned by the crisis generated by the health emergency that produced a decrease in global tourism of 74 % compared to 2019 . Despite this , Emma Villas , first and foremost with regard to the vacation rental sector of luxury villas and residences in Italy , has demonstrated a great capacity for reaction . Starting from 2020 , the company has been able to implement diversified strategies and to count on the strong collaboration with the owners and on the effectiveness of marketing actions aimed mainly at Italian clients . The results of 2021 confirm that the direction taken was the right one . In 2022 , growth was 54 %, thanks to the return of international clients , the loyalty of Italian guests , elements that have allowed us to consolidate our leadership of the market .
