How did you prepare and support each other in your journey to medical school?

A: Simply having someone who understands what you’re going through has been the biggest

support. Preparing to go to medical was tedious and tough, and having Brooke around to vent to and lean on was a huge lifesaver. We took our MCAT together, interviewed the same day, and even found out about our acceptances a mere 15 minutes apart. It made the whole process more enjoyable and bearable.

B: We definitely had each other’s backs throughout the whole pre-med process. We helped each other get through some of the difficult pre-med classes like organic chemistry and biochemistry. Because we took MCAT the same day, I spent the night before at her house for some last-minute studying and encouragement. B: What drew Lexi and I both to COM is that it is Maine’s only medical school and has a strong emphasis on medicine in rural communities. Lexi and I both want to stay in Maine if possible and return to practice once we’re finished our education. We want to serve the communities that we grew up in and give back
