STUDENT DOCTORS OF THE MONTH FOR NOVEMBER
Congratulations to the UNE COM Student Doctors of the Month for November, Sean Lombard, COM ’22 and Shadia Kawkabani, COM ’23.
One nomination states, “Sean tries to maintain a positive outlook, remains optimistic in the face of all the stress that medical school involves, and he inspires those around him to do the same.”
Another student writes, “Shadia has the capacity to take time to listen and console students when they are not feeling well and dig down deep to find what is good and awesome within them.”
STUDENT DOCTORS OF THE MONTH FOR JANUARY
Congratulations to Karin Darakananda, COM '22 and Chun Hin Lam, COM '23, the Student Doctors of the Month for January.
One nomination states that Student Doctor Darakananda "is also a tangible member of the community, playing a large role in the SAAO club and helping with the auction that helps send future committed practitioners of OMT to Convocation."
Of Student Doctor Lam, one student writes, "He is essentially a genius and is always helping me and others with difficult material. He makes studying fun and makes learning environments less stressful."
