UNE COM alumna, Kelley Harmon, DO ’05, and Regional Assistant Dean at the Augusta Clinical Campus in Maine, presented on the Student and Resident Track at OMED 2019. Her talk, "Opiate Use Disorder Treatment - Specialized Care for the Mother-Infant Dyad and Practical Application of an Osteopathic Tenet" addressed the growing concerns of opioids on birthing mothers. Dr. Harmon is a stout advocate of women’s health and dedicates her time and energy to underserved populations of women in Maine.
