THIRD-YEAR COM STUDENTS SHINE AS THEY PRESENT RESEARCH AT PN QIN
Fourth-year COM students, Danielle Sultan and Elise Reddington, have been incredibly successful in their roles as UNE COM Student Site Liaisons at their third-year clerkship campus last year. Maria Hill, MD, who worked closely with them as Regional Assistant Dean at the former clinical campus in Springfield, MA, readily admits how instrumental their involvement has been this past year. “I honestly could not have done my job without them,” she says. “In addition to all the hard work they did as liaisons, they had time to help Dr. Mitchell and me perform some rigorous clinical research in our Neonatal nursery at mercy.” Danielle and Elise presented the research poster at the Perinatal-Neonatal- Quality Improvement Network of Massachusetts (PN QIN) Conference in Boston to over 200 clinical providers, researchers and health professionals.
