DANA YORKS, DO ’17 FEATURED IN THE DO
UNE COM alumnus, Dayna Yorks, DO '17 was featured in an issue of The DO for National Osteopathic Medicine (NOM) Week. The article, "6 osteopathic researchers to know for National Osteopathic Medicine Week" highlighted Dr. York's research in the Journal of the American Osteopathic Association that looked at the effects of group exercise on stress.
Dr. Yorks came to UNE COM with a passion for fitness; she brought her previous experience as a group fitness instructor to the table, and with the help of Drs. Mark Schuenke, Marilyn Gugliucci, and Christopher Frothingham, started a fitness program at UNE COM that is still active and flourishing.
