Communication
Communication refers to social interaction, that is, to action and the
result of communicating. It is a necessary social action, because if it did
not exist, no one would be able to fully know the world around us and much
less share the experiences of each human being with others.
Communication is a necessity for people, that is why those who have
difficulties and do not have the capacity to acquire speech, such as
hearing impaired people, have alternative ways of doing it. The language
they usually use is through gestures and hand signals. Anyone can learn
this kind of language.
The same happens with people who have a visual disability. Being able to
read is a type of communication, therefore, the blind or visually impaired
have their own reading system, this is called Braille. The Braille system is
characterized by providing the opportunity to read and write through
touch.
