as secretary and graphic designer at Christ Church.

roles as a member of a community—a student, a roommate, an
employee, a volunteer, etc., and to do all of that gracefully.

he helped me understand the distinction between women’s and
minority histories, and history that faithfully recognizes the value
of each person in each vocation in the story of the world.

to live and work downtown Moscow.

not from certainty, but rather from epistemic humility and faith.
