How did Social Media Change Productivity?

The Cambridge Dictionary defines productivity as“ the rate or efficiency of work, especially in industrial production.” However, on social media, productivity usually means how well a person spends their day. But what is productive, and how do we measure it? to be ashamed of, it becomes a problem. To prevent this, appreciate what you do as a whole, be aware of your progress, and give yourselves some space to relax.

Since the rise of social media, people have been able to communicate with a wider community all around the world. Therefore, people have started to learn about different cultures, ideologies, and more. Although social media connects people, it also comes with a strong influence: trends. Every other week, a new trend appears and influences a large community. One of those trends that has had a great effect is being overprotective.
Waking up at 5 in the morning, overworking, constantly doing hobbies, and always dealing with something have become a new trend. Moreover, the important thing became not the process, but rather the results. As a result, people started to not enjoy what they were doing and to feel ashamed when the results were not good enough to gain the approval of others, particularly people on social media.
