The global economy is not just changing, it is being transformed. AI is changing how people work, how businesses operate, and how value is created internationally. This transformation goes beyond automation, influencing skills, employment preferences, and the relationship between humans and technology. According to the IMF and other studies, around 40 % of jobs worldwide are likely to be affected by AI in terms of task changes, automation, or quality of work. In advanced economies( such as the USA, UK, and EU) this could be as high as 60 %. As you can see, AI was made to make our lives easier and help us in any way. But today, in global work and economy, AI is being used as a tool to avoid expenses, suffering less effort, and employing less people to achieve a perfect workplace. That is why people are now changing their ideas about the future and jobs. To plan a successful future and a career, people have transformed their skills and job preferences according to technological changes. For example, the corporate jobs today are mostly based on skills like digital literacy, data analysis, AI system monitoring, and problem solving. Traditional routine roles in society may shrink, while jobs requiring strategic, creative, and different personal skills grow. You may think that AI transforms the global economy and work only in negative ways. But it has made it more efficient and productive. The adoption of AI boosts productivity by helping workers complete tasks faster and efficiently with the same resources. And some research indicates that AI could contribute up to roughly 15.7 trillion USD to global GDP by 2030. In conclusion, it is clear that AI has made our jobs easier, but we must adapt to these new conditions that have been created by the popular usage of AI if we want a successful career and a stable workplace. AI has displaced a lot of jobs, but it will create a lot more in the future due to the transformation in global work.
