The One That Breathed into Me

It is through the marks we leave on the youth that we achieve divinity . A mark may be left by an invention or a moral . To leave a mark , someone has to be marked as “ breathed into .” This would be inspiration . The word inspiration comes from the Latin “ intricate ,” meaning ” to breathe into .” It can be described as someone or something that gives you an idea for doing something .
Everyone has inspiration . Some are well known and adopted by many , while others aren ’ t . My inspiration is Prometheus , a figure from Greek mythology . In short , there was Gaia , the earth , and Uranus , the sky . Gaia had Kronos , her youngest child and he kills Uranus . This slaughter was purely based on raw power ; neither will nor mind had anything to do with it . After the downfall of Uranus , Kronos rose to be the emperor of the Cosmos . The Titans had many children , and one of them was Prometheus . He breathed life into clay and created humans . He helped the Gods of Olympus overcome Kronos with plans that symbolized the mind rather than raw power . But Gods didn ’ t know what humans could achieve . Prometheus knew this , he gifted the fire to humans to develop while betraying Zeus , so he was chained . In the book “ Prometheus Bound ” Aeschylus said , “ Everyone carries a destiny ; no one shall be free except the one that leads us .” Prometheus quickly became a symbol of freedom and the mind .
I always attach importance to freedom and the mind . Mind is the power source of humanity , and it can ’ t exist without freedom . Prometheus is the one who gave me the mind to be who I am . Prometheus is the one who breathed into me . I believe that only with his influence , I will leave a mark .
