The Essence of Inspiration
In this edition of The CommitTED , we invited our students to explore the impact of ‘ inspiration ’ on individuals and society , and how it may influence the future . As ever , our students approached this task with a great deal of enthusiasm and spirit .
All this makes for an especially interesting and inspiring edition of The CommitTED where our students have responded to the theme with creativity , originality and enthusiasm . The variety of contributions in this volume make it a memorable one .
From the Editorial Board
In this collection , our students examine the theme of ‘ inspiration ’ from variety of different perspectives . They discuss what inspiration is and how it shapes one ’ s life , and reflect on Mustafa Kemal Atatürk as a source of inspiration in every aspect of life . They also share what and who inspires them . The students ’ works consist of essays , interviews , poems and drawings . In their work , some mention the intuition of recognizing inspiration , following it and turning it into a source for the future generations . Others focus on individuals who have played a significant role in their lives , emphasizing the qualities that make them inspirational .
Whether through acts of creativity , advocacy , or service to others , we have the power to transform inspiration into tangible outcomes that benefit not only ourselves but also the world around us . By embracing the transformative power of inspiration , we can forge a path towards a future defined by hope , possibility , and collective progress .
