My Inspiration

Many people have been role models for me , but my true inspiration is Deniz , a relative of mine . She is 25 years old , and she studied at Istanbul Technical University . She is doing her masters in Yale at the moment . Although she has gone through some difficult challenges , she has successfully overcome them , which is the main reason why she is my role model .
When she was in 12 th grade , she had a car accident . She was on a coach to Trabzon with her school for a debate competition . It was a very cold day , and the roads were icy . The driver lost control of the coach and skidded . While her friends had minor injuries , Deniz , who was standing in the aisle , suffered the most serious injuries . She had to stay in the hospital for 3 months to recuperate and have intensive physiotherapy . At the beginning , she lacked the hope to get over this , but after seeing the other patients not losing hope , she became more positive towards life . The doctors were also shocked to witness her full recovery within just three months . to a tutorial centre to help her prepare for the exam . She worked extra hard . In addition , she improved her English by watching English TV series and practising her speaking with me . She secured admission to Istanbul Technical University . She actively participated in various social clubs addressing community issues and promoting environmentally friendly activities . Additionally , she excelled academically . As a result , during her second year , she was given a scholarship to complete her studies in Yale , USA . She went there in her junior year and has been there since .
Studying abroad has always been my biggest ambition . I really admire Deniz for all her achievements and resilience in difficult conditions . Moreover , her English is at a very high level , and I want to be able to speak as well as Deniz . She is also a very sweet person and always helps me when I ask her even though we are far away from each other . She always has time for me . I hope one day , I will be an inspiration to someone the same way Deniz has been to me .
