A Genuine Reflection on Mustafa Kemal Atatürk
Mehmet Oğuz SÜRER
The word inspiration has its roots in Latin and means to “ breathe into ”. It suggests gasping in an astounding situation . One can also conclude that this means imagining oneself as someone with the traits they would like to have .

For me , the person who should inspire people not only in our nation but in the world is Mustafa Kemal Atatürk . Before discussing his characteristics , it is worth mentioning his surname . Most people believe that it means “ Father of the Turks ”, but it actually means “ Turk like his ancestors ”. This shows how much he loves and appreciates his culture and national identity . Atatürk possessed a plethora of essential characteristics that contributed to building a stable , efficient , and discreet society .
As for more personal traits , I have never seen someone so determined to achieve his goals , or so reliant on a society that has existed for centuries and is fighting a chaotic survival war against the strongest empires of that time . His intentions in the field of education were also notable . Furthermore , his idea of developing a once-thought-dead nation was ahead of its time and precisely brilliant .
Overall , Atatürk ’ s determination , endeavor , leadership , and hope helped the people to build a nation that is revered as eternal .
