Inspiration in Every Corner
Bora GÖK
Inspiration is a unique term . If you were asked to define it , you might say it ’ s the feeling that drives you to do something creative . However , I believe that definition is too narrow . Helping the elderly , checking in on your relatives , or even giving your jacket to someone feeling cold are not necessarily “ creative ” actions , and they can all be inspiring . To me , inspiration is a force that motivates us to take action , regardless of the kind of action . It ’ s like a savior that wakes you up and makes life more vibrant . Without inspiration , the world would be dull , and people would do things just because they had to , not because they wanted to .
Art , music , and literature would lose their vibrancy without inspiration , leaving them devoid of flavor and excitement . So , where can we find inspiration ? It can come from anywhere : the sound of a car horn , the scent of an apple pie , or even the gentle swaying of grass on a breezy autumn day . I was inspired to write this essay when I saw my twin writing a long message to a friend . The bottom line is that although inspiration may be hard to define , it plays a vital role in our lives . I hope that you will be inspired throughout your life .
