Once upon a time , in a distant land , there were two celestial bodies . One was called the Sun and the other was called the Moon . They were born together and worshipped side by side , but people of the land praised the Sun more for the Sun brought the warmth and light to the land and helped people grow their crops . Nevertheless , the Moon was not loved by people as much as the Sun . They loved the Sun because the Moon only brought darkness and icy cold wind with itself . Although the Moon still yearned for the love of people , the people saw this yearning for arrogance and greed .
So , one day , the Moon went to see the Sun , to ask a question ; “ Sun , how do you make people of these lands like you ?”
“ My dear Moon , I don ’ t do anything but bring light to them . Light makes the crops grow on its own . I don ’ t do anything other than watching them as they grow ”, the Sun replied .
The Moon suddenly had an idea and uttered desperately ; “ Oh my beloved Sun , you just gave me an idea ! My friend please hear my plea and lend me a helping hand .”
“ I ’ m guessing you wish for one of my many light triangles ?”, the Sun said in a prideful voice . The Moon only nodded knowing that the Sun was proud of its many light triangles . The Sun looked at the Moon with its single eye and sighed .
“ You may take just one and that ’ s all I ’ m willing to give . Do not ever break it ”, said the Sun . The Moon thanked the Sun a hundred times and then went back to its duties . With the help of the light triangle , the crops continued to grow at night and it warmed the coldest corners of the land . The Moon was praised by all this and people no longer ridiculed the Moon .
