Between past and present From Bearing to Zealand Species have survived Just for them to be
Many of their fate Were destined by instincts They lived , thrived and died Without any acknowledgements
From those species Only one has stood out Reminiscing a light Brighter than the Earth ’ s might
They knew who they were Knew that surroundings are the key The species in question Is what you call clothed monkey
They knew what the key was Only need was to find the door To their luck it turns out Their intellect was all along
They tried the key It fitted in right But upon opening A shadow sneaked in
With newly realized abilities A new sun dawned on them
That in the future years Would open to swallow them whole
But this perfect blessing Could ever turn to a curse Could their oldest friend Might do a backstab
Year after year Age after age The old tree does finally bear fruit
They gazed skywards Longingly to the birds They sat and just wondered How can we be even ?
That one question Was the spark to ignite The torches that are Going even to skies unknown
With the skies that Holds the eternity of our republic All the men and women Cheering from above
From the elder state ’ s demise See a new republic rise From the west reaching east There we were
