Rags to Riches

Back in the days when the world wasn ’ t nearly as globalized as it is today , when the United States was considered a new country , people from all over the globe used to immigrate to America due to the socioeconomic mobility they thought they would finally have . Individuals were willing to cross the entire Atlantic Ocean to arrive at the New World , and they had one goal in mind , which was to fulfill the American Dream of rags to riches . always be preserving fairness , preventing corruption , and having values such as honesty , courage and kindness .
If we don ’ t strive to ensure that anyone , regardless of their circumstances at birth , can somehow have their own success in life , we are doomed to fail eventually . After all , hope dies last and we have to keep it alive .
The first notable author who started writing about rags-toriches stories was Horatio Alger , who was famous for telling the tales of impoverished people rising to the middle class through hard work . Narrative that is similar to Horatio Alger ’ s is still commonly used in heartwarming stories because moving beyond economic barriers and being successful in hard , unfair , or sometimes even downright hopeless situations is clearly praiseworthy , and furthermore something many desire to experience for themselves .
A substantial number of large establishments that are widely known in fact started from the bottom and arose thanks to correct actions that were taken by certain people . While there are a large number of motivational stories of individuals making it to the top , people are losing their trust and hopes , and unfortunately many don ’ t believe that rags to riches is even achievable at this point . Although we don ’ t need equal outcomes , we should set up such systems that allow for capable people to have opportunities and our focus should
