We are living in a world which is digitalizing rapidly , that is why we should keep pace with it . Therefore , digital citizenship gains great importance . But what is digital citizenship ?

Digital citizenship provides the ability of engaging with digital technologies , participating actively and responsibly in digital communities , defending human dignity and ethics in the digital environment , protecting human rights , democracy and the rule of law in cyberspace . But of course , there are potential harms of digitalization .
Potential harms of digitalization have increased a lot in recent years , and this is happening because people are using digital media unconsciously . And as a result of this they are losing their mental and physical health . There are digital citizenship educations for solving these health problems and learning the advantages of digital citizenship . This education is also good for raising digitally literate citizens and it helps to improve the general quality of an average citizen ’ s life in this new digital era .
These are the effects of digitalization . You have witnessed how much our world has changed and improved in the last century . Then , what are your ideas ? What will the world be like in the future ? Will there be artificial intelligence , or will humans have an alternative life ?
