Digital citizenship is specified as the ability to engage with the Internet and technology in a proper and safe way . Students need to be very skilled and adapt while using it because being a digital citizen means being a functioning member in society as children of today one day will rule the future . In the future there will be very different and new technology such as METAVERSE . Metaverse is a subject resembling the Internet . Decades before the Internet and modern technology were impossible for making people but now it is prevalent . Now Metaverse is an important and very effective for human life . METAVERSE is a 3D virtual world focused on social connection . It is described as an assumptive repetition of the Internet as a single , universal virtual world that is facilitated using VR ( virtual reality ) headsets . The term metaverse has its origins in the fictional novels now crashes ‘’ as a combination of “ meta ” an ” universe “.
Second Life is an instance of Metaverse . Second Life is an online multimedia platform that allows people to create an avatar for themselves and communicate with one another . It is developed and owned by the San Francisco based firm Linden Lab and launched on June 23 , 2003 . There is a new digital currency that can power virtual communities . users can now buy , earn , and convert VCOIN to cash . Vcoins will change human life . It will make their lives easier , and it is also beneficial in terms of the development of technology because Vcoins are crypto , and they can be exchanged for real money . Video games like Roblox and Fortnite and Animal Crossing : New Horizons , in which players can build their own worlds , have metaverse tendencies , as do most social media .
Finally , in this growing world if we want to have a happy and peaceful life , we need to be a digital citizen and teach our children to respect each other private lives .
