A digital citizen is a person who uses digital technologies correctly for all kinds of purposes such as communication , entertainment , and education . Day by day , the number of users who use technology is increasing . Nowadays , babies are born within this giant technology . Although the elderly people did not have technological devices such as telephones in their youth , on this day and age they learn and begin to use them . have experienced some sort of cyberbullying . This is a big problem these days .
To sum up , the Internet is very important in the era we live in and it makes life a lot easier . In my opinion , there is no harm in using it after taking our security measures and not being addicted .
There are lots of advantages of technology . One of the advantages is that it is very easy and fast to search things . In order to find information on the Internet , it is enough to write the topic into the search engine . In addition , we can learn lots of things such as a new language , new recipes and how to play an instrument . Also , we can communicate with our relatives or friends who are far away from us using the Internet . With today ’ s technology , we can even video chat with them .
On the other hand , the Internet has disadvantages , too . One of the disadvantages is that there is a lot of wrong information on the Internet . So , we have to search from secure websites . Also , we can become addicted to phones gradually . It can cause isolation from people and health problems . In addition , some websites that we visit may not be reliable and our computer or phone may be infected with viruses . In this way , our information can be deleted or stolen .
