Today , especially with the spread of the internet , the rapid progress of digital culture continues . The birth of the internet is considered a milestone for digital culture . While the definition of “ digital immigrant ” is used for those who were born before the Internet and use the Internet today , the definition of “ digital natives ” is used for those born after . We can also call them “ born on the internet ”. oral culture periods , which we can call macro , can be observed even for more limited and small events in digital culture . In my opinion , digital life can easily change our view , what we know , and it can have both positive and negative effects .
Another aspect of digital culture that distinguishes it from its predecessors is that intercultural interaction is higher than ever before . In this age , the transfer of one culture to another takes place every moment . Therefore , cultural transformation takes place temporally at the speed of the internet , and geographically in a wide geography that can only be limited by languages and translations . With the effect of the prevalence of the languages used in the world , especially English , the geographical limit of cultural transformation becomes unclear . In digital culture , the direction of culture can be easier than ever in this sense .
