Every day , we happen to spend a bigger part of our daily lives interacting with technology . More and more of our actions are beginning to be handled by the help of Artificial Intelligence . Besides , most of our communication and other kinds of interactions are made on social media .
To sum up , technology getting into our lives is inevitable , what we can do about it is to use it for good causes and always catch up with the developments because once you lose the thread , it will be hard to get it back .
First of all , our lives keep getting digitalized economically . As a very simple example ; in 2021 , 1 in 3 of the payments made by credit cards were made online . This rate is expected to go up higher and higher in the future . Another issue about the digitalization of economic activities would be the virtual money which is widely used in the market these days . Many new kinds of coins are being created and they all tend to increase their value in really short periods of time . For example , Bitcoin passed $ 1000 for the first time on 28 November 2013 , and in February 2021 , it exceeded over $ 65,000 .
Other than the economy , our communication and almost every kind of social and cultural actions are highly affected by technology . Since there are no borders on social media , people can easily learn about what ’ s going on around them and build their minds according to their era . If something goes wrong in a particular country , for instance racism , it spreads to the whole world in the blink of an eye and it becomes a universal problem .
