Cyberspace

Cyberspace has provided us with platforms where we can reach out to people all across the world , and discuss all sorts of topics . We have the opportunity to find and connect with people whom we share similar experiences with .
Before cyberspace , attaining information outside of our circle was almost impossible . We heard the news , beliefs and ideas that were represented by people near us , efficiently narrowing our worldview . actions in the past , the fast-paced nature of cyberspace has ripped the safely tucked blanket around them , making it impossible to hide .
All in all , with cyberspace being open to everyone with no exceptions , protecting human rights and promoting democracy has become easier .
Now , with the various safe spaces that cyberspace is homing , we can share anything we want , including the corruption we may be facing .
In summer 2020 many protests were held all around the globe , emitting from a video showcasing racially motivated police brutality that was shared online . With information traveling fast once it entered cyberspace , the video inevitably reached millions in no time .
Now , thanks to that one video , and outraged people who didn ’ t waste a second , immediately started speaking against unfair systems , many laws enabling injustice were ruled out and many people ’ s viewpoints were shifted . Companies and governments grew more sensitive about their systematic racism .
One voice can easily be ignored and it ’ s futile to try and be heard over countless others , however , millions of voices combined , screaming and demanding the same words of equality , over and over isn ’ t .
Powerful people have been taking advantage of the less privileged for ages . While it was easier to disclose malicious
