Digitalization is taking over this world with the invention and devices being more common and affordable and they will keep being easier to obtain . Nearly every job is becoming easier with technology . Even though there are advantages , there are also many disadvantages . In this text , I am planning to show you some ways of minimalizing the disadvantages of the digital world .
First of all , you might wonder what digital citizenship is . People are living their life online , and this has brought many different problems and different needs . For example , some children use the Internet but it is a problem for them because they are too young to understand the dangers . The Internet is a big place so there are many types of usages so it might bring lots of problems for young people . Some companies have found a solution for this problem . For example , some games have chat filters which censor inappropriate words for children and some companies have realised that there are very few educational apps so there have been many apps developed for children . Another example is from the popular video channel YouTube . They have realised that the children were watching videos which are not suitable for kids . So , they have developed an app called YouTube Kids where there are only videos for kids . After the Covid , nearly everything went online , the online shopping rates have increased and this was the time for scammers . A lot of people got scammed . So many people got their credit card info stolen . People developed apps which are more trustable and most people felt more comfortable . To sum up , with the help of digital citizenship , people ’ s life got easier and this reduced the bad effects of technology .
