In the 21st century , technology has an indispensable place in our lives . Especially in the past two years , the use of technological devices has increased . Because of the current situation that the world is in , we had to be quarantined and that is the reason why the use of technology has risen . Apart from that , technology makes our life so much easier . You can find the information you need within seconds from the Internet . But besides making our life easier the technology also has some potential harms . In this essay , I ’ m going to talk about some harms of technology .
The fırst topic that I ’ m going to talk about is privacy . Every move we make and every site we visit in the digital environment is being recorded by artificial intelligence of some companies . And according to these records , we come across advertisements for the products we prefer and look for . Those companies may use or share this information with their partners .
The second topic is about robots . The evolving technology allows us to do so many things . We can code robots to do things that a human can do . That indeed makes our lives easier but also if robots can do anything that a human can do then they can replace us . In other words , we can lose our jobs because of them .
under the light of the facts that I have mentioned above , digitalization has its benefits as well as its disadvantages .
