Currently , Digital Citizenship is probably not known by many people . Basically , it is having another life on the Internet completely different from reality . There are many cases of digital citizenship . One example is “ Artemis ”. Created by Brendan Greene , a video game developer known as “ Player Unknown ”, it is a 64-kilometer virtual world with a jungle style . It will be travelable via digital civilization . However , this virtual world will only be a very tiny part of the Metaverse .
Working , travelling , and socializing could be much easier with digital citizenship . Working together with your partners on a project or just chatting with your friends could get much easier with digital citizenship . Socializing would be much easier for introverts and exciting events could be more accessible , such as concerts or birthday parties . Traveling to different cities , countries or even planets could be only one click away , Metaverse claims . For example , you could attend a concert that is organized by famous singers , or bands and it could be much more fun than in real life since on the Internet , you have no limits .
Digital citizenship could also have a great impact on people economically . Non-Fungible Tokens , also known as NFTs , are being collected by many wealthy people . Some people find it ridiculous , while some people support it . Buying Metaverse land is also a thing that has gained popularity in the past few months and some people find to be a really good opportunity to invest . Additionally , people earn millions , even billions of dollars with crypto currencies .
For me , it could make a huge difference in my lifestyle . I really love the Internet and spend a large amount of my time there . Digital citizenship would probably make me more social and would probably help me make new friends to interact with not only from my country but from all over the world .
Digital citizenship has been predicted to be the beginning of a new era and I agree with that statement . It could make everything possible , and it could have a notable difference on people ’ s lives .
