For more than 20 years , we have been using the Internet and it has a bigger role in our life nowadays . We started using it for social , economic , entertainment and so many for other purposes that it can be said that we now have a ‘‘ digital life ’’.
Overall , the Internet helped us recreate our life as a digital life which made us grow faster in 20 years . We learned and keep learning new things such as metaverse , crypto , Al , AR and it looks like there are more fun things waiting for us in the future .

If we think more about what the Internet is , without any effort , we can visualize the Internet as a digital copy of our life . There are online marketing websites such as Amazon which is just a copy of a normal store . If something unexpected happens , getting scammed as an example , there are online police systems what we call cyber securities .
Sometimes people might wonder if it is really necessary to use the Internet since it is only a copy . Well , it is a copy which is more useful and faster . You can order anything you want instantly even it is not found in your country . It might take some time to get your cargo , but it is obviously faster than buying it yourself . This is same for social media as well . You can call and have fun with your friends any time you want . Elders might not see it as a social activity but it is called ‘‘ social media ’’ for a reason .
There are more other ways to use the Internet and probably one of the most important one is Information Technologies . Everything is based on information in this world which makes it important to reach . Since it has numerous types of information , the Internet can be considered as a source of various types of information .
