The Cobra Pit 3rd Quarter 2014 | Page 4

Sir, you have done so much for the unit, Soldiers, and youself throughout your time here. You have been an inspiration to us all. Thank you for the many conversations, for remiding me to always be calm. You are the quintessential example of a true leader, who motivates his Soldiers and lives what he requires. I will forever be grateful for you leadership and guidance. I pray that God blesses you, your family (especially that cute baby!!), your finances, and your career. I pray that he enlarges your territory and gives you the desires of your heart. - LT Bailey

"Let me get off my soap box!"

"Listen...Listen... Ay...Ay..."

"Let's go get some brefus."

"This is the last thing, I swear."

"I'm gonna keep this really short."

"Two chops... and a back hand."

"What's going on high speed?!"

"I ain't playin', I'm just the hype man."

"At the end of your day, man..."

"Let me tell you something..."

"I'm your commander... I love you, and there's nothing you can do or say about it."

Sustain the swag!

- SPC Boyette

"Take me with you."

- SGT Allen

" Grant, when was the last time you had two chops?"

"You need to develop yourself mentally - spiritually - financially - technically - tactically - Total Soldier concept."

Sir, I'm gonna keep this short. Your long metorship sessions every Saturday aftenoon will be missed. Because of your guidance, I have bettered myself, 'physically... emotionally ...spiritually...financially,' and focused on the 'total Soldier' concept. I will continue to do "mirror checks" per your instruction. Now, I'm gonna go get some "Brefuss" before I get "two chops and backhand!" - SGT Hicks
