as he regularly competes with
Team USA and FBU’s TN State
Team.
Moore is a 6’1, 225-pound lineman who captures the attention
of many on the field, but also gets
recognized for his off-the-field
actions by how he conducts himself in such a mature manner.
Right now, Moore is being
recruited by three schools that
include LSU, Tennessee, and
Florida.
His biggest role model is Les
Miles due to the leadership that
Miles demonstrates on the field,
and Moore tries to incorporate
that in his gameplay.
Martez Barber, who is the
eighth grade offensive line coach
and defensive coordinator, had
nothing but positives to say
about Moore.
“One of the things that has
always impressed me about
Caden is his attitude. He has a
tremendous work ethic as well,
and on the skill set side he has
good feet and tremendous size.
He has represented our program
well on and off the field, and getting a National All-American
award is an accreditation to his
hard work and attitude that he
always demonstrates,” Barber
explained.
Moore still has one year left at
the middle school level, but
coaches at Cleveland High School
already highly anticipate his

Bryce Copeland cut the lead to
71-68 with his third 3-pointer of
the contest with just over 31 seconds remaining. However, James
Kilpatrick made 1 of 2 free throws
to give Delta State its final winning margin.
“It was just a little too much
Devin Schmidt,” said Lee coach
Tommy Brown after the tough
loss. “He’s just a tremendous
player. Again, I’m proud of the
effort of our guys today. We just
had some untimely turnovers
and they are just an outstanding
ball club.”
Schmidt finished the evening
with 31 points, making 11-of-24
shots from the field and 6 of 10
triples. Only one other Delta
State player finished in double
figures. Davis totaled 15 points,
added eight rebounds and
