AN ENEMY THAT EVERYONE NEEDS TO COMBAT
THE CLERMONT SCHOOL
Héroes invisibles
Every story of heroes starts with a happy beginning, but this isn’t a normal hero story.
My story begins in Canada, specifically in Toronto where there was a man named Louis. He didn't know it yet, but he was going to become a hero.
Around the world, there was a disease that was killing people so quickly and easily, that governments and the United Nations acted too late on it, and as a result, millions of people died around the world, creating the new global pandemic. Scientists around the world tried to find the cure to this disease, but each day the scientists didn’t find the cure, millions of people in all the countries died. The despair in all the world started to terrify the people making this a situation of terror and isolation. The virus is transmitted through the air so is too easy to get contact with it and also to get infected, another issue is that the virus did not demonstrate symptoms until ten days after the person is infected, between this time lapse, the infected people could transmit his virus to many people but they don’t know it because they don’t have any symptoms of the disease. While this was happening around the world, Luis was working in the antidote in his laboratory with the help of some colleagues.
When the antidote is obtained, the United Nations will distribute to the whole world safe as many people as possible, with that in mind, Luis started to work day and night to find the cure. One day, he went to the doctor because he was feeling like a knife getting through his heart. Luis was a nervous person with a happy personality. All the time he had always had a smile on his face making an atmosphere of faith and hope. He has blond hair, with blue eyes making it self get confused with an American, but he comes from Colombia; he was tall and muscular compared to the people from his similar age who were between 25 and 30. He practiced basketball and went to the gym all the weekend before the pandemic started. He was a person that thought a lot and read too much.
He entered the doctor's office to know what was happening to his chest and why he was in pain. He continued talking with the doctor and in a point of the conversation he remembered that when he was a child, he felt similar pain in his chest. He mentioned that to the doctor and he started to examine his chest, he started to touch and try to understand where the pain was coming from. He got some help from other doctors and Luis was translated to another dark room. He was x-rayed with a machine and the doctor discovered that there was a silver shad in his heart, incredibly, he was with that inside his body for an unknown time, an ordinary person would have already died. Luis didn’t remember from when he had that silver shad inside its heart. But it was definitely a miracle that he wasn't dead, maybe it was destiny.
After that, he decided to travel to Colombia to visit his father’s house to tell all that was going on while he was in the hospital. When he arrives, his dad receives him with a giant smile because Luis
