Another important centenary is that of the company that became the Jaguar brand , the Swallow Sidecar Company founded by William Lyons and William Walmsley in 1922 , Examples of Jaguar cars from over the years will feature .
A car that brought sports car motoring to the masses was the MGB which was launched in 1962 . That 60th anniversary will be celebrated by the MG Owners Club and the MG Car Club .
Allard , the low volume UK manufacturer from the 1950s , will mark 70 years of Sydney Allard winning the 1952 Monte Carlo Rally . Finally , a major anniversary is 70 years of the BMW Car Club , which includes 50 years of the M Power brand and 40 years of the E30 .
There really is something for everyone , so when the racing stops at lunchtime try and keep an eye on the track for some fantastic parades of wonderful cars that are helping to celebrate 100 years of motoring . Getting involved is easy - your club co-ordinator simply needs to register the club when we ’ re on sale for the 2023 event ( by early November ), get set-up with your exclusive car club booking code and , once that ’ s in place , it ’ s simply shared with members who can get booking . Please note that sales of weekend car club packages are only available until the end of May ( subject to availability ) – this enables us time to establish how many cars are attending with each club and plan the club display areas .
