Celebrating our Best of British theme , we ’ ve brought together an exciting line-up of chefs who will be taking to the Silverstone Kitchen Live stage for cooking demonstrations and Q & A sessions throughout the weekend . Unmissable !
Headlining the Silverstone Kitchen Live stage on Friday is winner of the 2016 Great British Bake Off , Candice Brown , whose sense of style and love for all things vintage is the perfect fit with The Classic !
“ Winning the Bake Off has taken my life on all kinds of unbelievable adventures and to be coming to Silverstone for The Classic is another of those wonderful experiences . I was taught to bake by my Nan and my cookery always has a sense of history , so I ’ m sure to have a strong connection with all those coming to The Classic . It ’ s going to be fun !”
On Saturday , Lesley Waters of Lesley Waters Cookery School will be taking centre stage . Lesley has regularly appeared on cookery programmes such as Ready Steady Cook and Great Food Live as well as This Morning , and will be sharing her great passion – and tips from her cookery school – for preparing seasonal food with fresh local produce in a simple , modern style .

One of the country ’ s emerging culinary talents : food blogger and recipe creator , Niall Kirkland , is all about keeping food fun and interesting with twists on classic dishes and treats that boost health at the same time . Niall will be offering a joyful way to eat well and feel great in yourself on Sunday !
Tickling taste buds before Candice , Lesley and Niall take to the stage , we have created a number of local guest spots to showcase local Northamptonshire cooks .
Sol Haven ’ s in-house chef - Natasha The Loving Chef – is Michelin-trained with a passion for vegan , gluten-free , and sugar-free food . Hear from Natasha on Friday about nourishing our bodies and souls , while moving towards a more sustainable diet for our planet .
Shires Country Kitchen is inspired by the River Cottage ethos and aims to produce homemade foods using the best of seasonal , local or British produce , organic and fair trade goods – sounds like the perfect prelude to Lesley on Saturday !
With a passion for Indian cuisine , Anita Chipalkatty of Hobby Cooks Cooking School is passionate about unravelling the benefits of herbs & spices in cooking and following basic techniques to cook classic dishes ; whilst sticking to the concept of home cooking , incorporating seasonality , and supporting local produce .
Dishing up further delights , Silverstone ’ s very own Executive Chef , Dean Hoddle- Smith , will also be supporting the celebrated chefs on all three days .
