Bringing a double bill of chart-toppers , after sunset on Saturday the stage is set for Gabrielle and Sister Sledge .
Gabrielle released her debut single Dreams in 1993 , bringing her instant success when it topped the UK Singles Chart the same year . Her second UK number one came a few years later in 2000 when the Rise album reached the top spot on the UK Albums Chart , where it stayed for three weeks . With a new album out and a 30 Years of Dreaming tour set for 2023 , Gabrielle is still very much going strong and we ’ re in for a treat .
And where better than our family festival for Sister Sledge to be giving love in a family dose ? Setting dance floors alight all over the world when they burst onto the scene in the late 70s , the Sledge sisters became a household name and a symbol of unity . Responsible for the biggest dance anthems of all time , get your dancing shoes on for Lost in Music , Thinking of You and He ’ s the Greatest Dancer . It ’ s going to be Sledgendary !

We ’ ll be closing things out for the weekend with our festival headliner , Rick Astley , who gained worldwide fame in the 1980s . His signature song “ Never Gonna Give You Up ” turned 35 at the end of July ! Rick became an Internet phenomenon in 2007 when the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up became integral to the Rickrolling meme and the song reached a milestone one billion views back in 2021 . He now has over two million followers on TikTok and while perhaps best known for his 80s hits which also include Together Forever and Whenever You Need Somebody , he is still making incredible music .
